Central component of the modular industrial robot system

The ATRO motor modules offer a wide range of options for designing everything from single-axis to multi-joint kinematics. Integrated EtherCAT servo drives with associated safety functions free up space in the control cabinet and minimize wiring work, enabling the option of control cabinet-free operation. The electronic nameplate, backlash-free holding brake and encoders contribute to the reliability and precision of the modules. The highly compact servomotor and high-performance gearbox offer maximum power and efficiency.

Different kinematics can be efficiently implemented with the type L motor module in five sizes.

A visual status indicator on the active motor side provides information on the various robot statuses. In combination with the internal media feed, the endless rotation enables a variety of applications. The standardized mechanical ATRO interface, the self-centering Hirth joint, and self-locking threads enable a wide range of combinations and ensure the stable and precise connection of ATRO modules.

The base-type motor module is available in two sizes and also allows the functionalities of the motor module to be combined with those of the base module – including feeding in power, data, and fluids such as vacuum and compressed air. This enables the robot to be mounted robustly on the machine bed, on the wall, or on the ceiling. The endlessly rotating axis optimizes both the travel paths and machine design.
