AM8500 | Synchronous servomotors with increased rotor moment of inertia

For applications with large Lambda and requirements for high synchronism

The AM8500 series extends the servomotor range by a complete series with increased rotor moment of inertia. It covers a wide performance range with four sizes, each in three lengths with a standstill torque of 1.37 to 41 Nm. Due to the high rotor inertia, the control of the AM8500 servomotors is simplified in areas in which a high external inertia has to be moved: They are less prone to oscillation and are much simpler to adjust on the servo controller. The 24-bit SIL 2 safety encoder is integrated as standard for high-precision applications.
