TwinCAT 3 is the perfect tool for commissioning an EtherCAT fieldbus and for fault-finding. With the necessary background knowledge of the mode of operation of the fieldbus and its possible uses, many errors can already be avoided in the planning or operation of the system. These subjects are dealt with in a four-hour online training course (presentation with online examples and demos). Training documentation enables the subsequent independent application on the participant’s own system. The course is suitable for all users of EtherCAT in TwinCAT 3 who wish to obtain basic information on the functional principle, configuration, and handling of the EtherCAT networks in TwinCAT 3.
