The control panels with mounting arm adapter and the built-in control panels in a high-quality stainless steel design are suitable for use as display and operating devices under IP65 conditions. The EtherCAT Box modules in a EQxxxx stainless steel housing are specially designed for use in extremely harsh and corrosive industrial environments. They meet the IP69K protection rating for maximum resistance and are ideal for use directly in the field. Thanks to EtherCAT, they offer an integrated control system for fast and highly precise data processing.

The portfolio includes:

In the area of drive technology, motors and gearboxes as well as the XTS linear transport system are available in stainless steel. The Beckhoff AM8800 servomotor series is classified as protection rating IP67 and is suitable for use in extremely harsh or corrosive environments. The motors from the AM8800 series are also available with the option of IP69K protection, making them suitable for cleaning with high-pressure cleaners. The low-backlash planetary gear units from the AG2800 series with an output shaft in a hygienic design are ideally suited to all applications in which fast, efficient, and reliable cleaning is important – particularly in areas that come into direct contact with food.

The anodized servomotors from the AM8700 series combine the advantages of the highly dynamic AM8000 standard servomotors with the requirements of the packaging and food industries. They also meet the requirements for hygienic design, making them ideal for the food, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries.

With its high protection rating of IP69K and the hygienic design – with no concealed edges or undercuts – the XTS Hygienic is also ideal for use in hygienically demanding environments, and is easy to clean.

With the APM4330-0001-0000, the XPlanar system also offers a mover variant that is fully encapsulated in stainless steel and is easy to clean. As the associated drive – the XPlanar tiles APS4xxx – can be covered with stainless steel or completely enclosed, this results in a well-rounded solution for sensitive areas, even those with hovering intelligent product transport.

The magnetic plate sets with the product designation AT9001 are part of the AT90xx mover. When using guide rails with movers from third-party suppliers or with self-designed movers, the magnetic plate set is available individually. The magnetic traveling fields of the XTS motor modules generate a linear movement with the aid of the magnetic plate sets. A set consists of two magnetic plates. One of the two magnetic plates is equipped with a sturdy encoder flag, which allows non-contact position detection of the movers.

The XTS Hygienic movers are optimally matched to the motor modules and guide rails. They are available in two different types of material: a stainless steel mover for particularly hygienically demanding environmental conditions and a mover made of anodized aluminum, which can transport larger payloads with higher dynamics than the stainless steel variant. The design and the materials of the movers allow cleaning in a washing machine. The feedback flag is an integrated component of the completely encapsulated magnetic plate set of the mover. Customer-specific attachments and tools can be mounted on the mover using a seal that is included in the delivery contents to ensure that the same hygienic requirements can also be met with customer connections.
