Team

Our team in Indonesia consists of Sales, Marketing, and Application Support.

You will report to the sales manager and will focus on Jakarta and the West Java region.

Responsibilities

  • begin, develop, and build relationships with machine builders and system integrators in targeted segments
  • client development for the complete spectrum of automation products such as PLC, industrial PC, fieldbus components, PC/NC automation software, drive technology, and PC-based automation solutions
  • conduct technical product presentations and demonstrations for customers, showing benefits for the customer’s system
  • work closely with the technical department to design and propose suitable solution architectures for customers’ applications
  • work closely with the marketing department for events such as seminars and roadshows
  • provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and customer updates to management
  • full responsibility for allocated sales targets and customer development

Requirements

  • degree in engineering or a related field
  • ideally, 2–3 years’ experience in technical sales in industrial automation, process automation, robotics, control systems, or similar technology
  • has developed customers (machine builders, system integrators, and or end user) in the FMCG industry, such as F&B, pharmaceuticals, or the processing industry
  • keen interest in technology
  • good technical knowledge of automation technology, fieldbus and system configurations
  • good ability to understand the customer’s system and project requirements
  • good sales and marketing skills in a B2B environment
  • a proactive, self-starter who is a team player
  • disciplined and organized in following up on customers’ progress and reporting to management
  • valid driver’s license with own car
