Junior sales engineer (m/f/x)

Beckhoff Israel is expanding its team and is looking for a sales engineer. We’re looking for a sales engineer who leverages both technical and commercial skills, combined with strong customer-facing capabilities, to guide customers in adopting new automation technologies.

• prepare and present solutions to make customers more innovative and competitive within their markets
• identify new business opportunities and proactively schedule in-person and remote sales meetings
• develop sales with OEM and end user customer accounts using appropriate product solutions
• successfully build relationships with existing customers and provide necessary sales and applications support
• identify customer needs, prepare and present bids and quotations using company guidelines
• advise customers on the proper selection, use, and maintenance of specific technology applications and products, as well as recommending training opportunities offered by Beckhoff
• educate new and existing customers on Beckhoff technology
• follow up on all marketing leads and provide feedback
• represent the organization in a professional, ethical, and socially responsible manner
• maintain a high degree of technical knowledge as is required to fulfill these job responsibilities

• sales skills
• B. Sc. (computer science\electronics\mechatronics)
• 3 to 5 years of experience
• understanding of PLCs, motion, drives, industrial PCs, distributed I/O, and HMI technologies
• advantageous: .Net/Python experience and/or vision analysis (OpenCV)
• highly motivated self-starter with good organizational skills
• ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and work cross-functionally
• team player mentality, but able to work independently as required
• strong interpersonal, listening, questioning, presentation and communication skills (written and oral)
