The slotbox makes PCI Express® and PCI™ slots available outside the Industrial PC as well. The PCI Express® bus is fed via a plug connector and cable to a slotbox located up to 7 m away. Users can use the installation space in the control cabinet flexibly and locate further plug-in cards locally.
Both PCI™ and PCI Express® card slots are available by using different versions of the slotbox. The slotbox is made of sturdy aluminum and ideal for use in industrial environments.
