TwinCAT 3 Power Control provides software blocks for implementing a power plant controller. This is required for all power-generating systems in order to meet the grid requirements, in accordance with the standards of the individual European countries, e.g. VDE-AR-N 4110 and VDE-AR-N 4120 and VDE-AR-N 4130 in Germany. This certificate has only been issued for CX8200, CX8290, CX9240, CX5330, and CX5340 Embedded PCs.

The software modules include:

• a reactive power controller for voltage stabilization
• an active power controller for frequency stability
• fault ride-through capability
