TwinCAT Power Functions: Power measurement with TwinCAT
TwinCAT 3 Power Control provides software blocks for implementing a power plant controller. This is required for all power-generating systems in order to meet the grid requirements, in accordance with the standards of the individual European countries, e.g. VDE-AR-N 4110 and VDE-AR-N 4120 in Germany.
The software modules include:
- a reactive power controller for voltage stabilization
- an active power controller for frequency stability
- fault ride-through capability
